If you want to make the most of your time in the Tasman, Golden Bay area then don't make the mistake of staying in Nelson. You will lose at least two hours a day reaching the area's major attractions. Motueka is at the heart of the region and Hat Trick Lodge is the most conveniently located accommodation in town.<\/p>\n
As you can see - our backpackers is right in the middle! From Hat Trick Lodge you can be walking in New Zealand's Abel Tasman National Park within 20 minutes or Kahurangi National Park (Mount Arthur) in 40.<\/p>\n
If you don't have your own transport then bus services to the parks, Golden Bay and Nelson leave from outside our lodge. The buses go as far as the Heaphy track and both the Western and Eastern ends of Abel Tasman National Park.<\/p>\n
